Nancy de Y. Elkus

Currently, Elkus serves on the Mill Valley Arts Commission, and has resumed making work after a welcomed hiatus.

On this website she posts her musings as she embarks on several new series.

Elkus examines memory and self-identity in her multimedia works. Using the human body and psyche as focal points, she works with nontraditional or mundane materials to create ambiguous, sometimes incongruous, images. Elkus lives and works in the Bay Area.
